Freezing-in prints into an ice block is a long and painstatking job that can take up to 10 days to compelete depending on the complexity and design. The print must first be laminated, sealed completely and totally water-tight. The slow freezing process can then take place with regular monitoring and adjustments over the freezing period. The end result is always specatcular.  Very clear ice with a print suspended in mid-space.

Roy Lichtenstein Print Vodka Luge   Commissioned for a party by the Saatchi Gallery in London, we were sent a Print of the famous 1963 Pop Art "Whaam!" (one of the very first Pop Art images) painting and asked to freeze it in an ice block, bit also make it a Vodka Luge. The original measures - 1.7 x 4.0 m (5 ft 7 in x 13 ft 4 in)…
