Alice in Wonderland

On the 4th July 1865 The Reverand Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known as Lewis Carrol, a don at Oxford College published his novel entitled: "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland".

The novel was based on a story he had began telling the Liddel sisters;  Ina, Edith and Alice,  embellishing and adding new characters each time he recited the story.  They begged and begged him to write down the amazing as well as weird and wonderful story.

He finally gave-in and started writing it in 1862.  By early 1865, it hd been completed and was released to the world in July of that year.

It is one of the true British classics of literature; a firm favourite for parties and Balls.  The book is full of rich, diverse and inventive characters - ideal to build a party theme on.
