Area Sq

Karen from Area Sq. e-mailed us asking for a quotation for their logo to recreated in ice and as a Vodka Luge. A price was given and accepted we then set about organizing everything.  That started with a hi-res image of their logo - which was duly sent.  Plotting the logo into our CNC computer was the next job.  Once each and every line, space and point plotted, the computer then controlled the cutting of the ice.  Their Ice Vodka Luge is an exact and perfect replica of their logo.

Once the cutting was completed, we then drilled a channel into the ice in order to make a Vodka Luge.

The setting was onboard The Yacht London,  moored along side the Embankment in London.  Luckily the evening was beautiful and warm (unusual for a September!)  Two of the crew helped man-handle the Luge on board and then we set it up completely.

Creating a WoW! factor at a Corporate function or event is getting harder and harder for most Event companies;  most ideas have been used (or as one could say, flogged-to-death over and over again).  However, a Vodka Luge or Ice Sculpture always seems to amaze, fascinate and intrigue people as well as never 'go out of fashion'. It is tactile (guests LOVE to touch the ice), visual and of course very interactive.  Where alcohol is involved, a Vodka Luge is always a safe and wonderful bet. As we create an ice sculpture from a block of pure ice (1m x 1/2m) we are able to create personal, bespoke and sculptures that are unique.
