Christmas Tree - 2 - a truly beautiful Christmas Tree. We have carved many versions of Christmas Trees over the years, but this one (in our opinion) is an elegant, sophisticated and classic design.
Carved from a single ice block, the branches are created in a way they will not melt super-fast but last and look good. In all ice carvings, it is always the most delicate and intricate parts that melt first.
The crowning glory is a beautiful star - shining brightly at the top of the tree.
Christmas Tree - 2
Standing 1m tall and 1/2m wide, this luge is a real classic weighing-in at or around 12-stone. The design follows a creative but traditional line - a fir tree with artistic license. With most Christmas Vodka Luges we can carve text in the base or the bottom of the sculpture. With this design of Christmas Tree - 2 , it would detract from the overal 'look' and feel. If text were really wanted or necessary, an option would to create an ice plinth base, carve the text in the base. The Christmas Tree - 2 would sit on the base. However, with the overal height of an ice bock being 1m, a compromise would have to take place. Instead of the Christmas Tree - 2 being a full 1m tall, we would have to take into account the base. The overal height of Christmas tree - 2 would thus be considerable smaller than 1m - approximately 60cm.
