Eagles are popular shapes and can make spectacular Vodka Luges for most events.  They are dramatic, regal and very impressive.

There are sixty species of Eagle from Africa and Eurasia. Eagle is the generic or common name for birds of the Accipitridae family. However all are not related.  Outside of Africa or Eurasia 11 species can be found or seen (two being the Golden and Bald Eagle) in Canada and the United States. When talking of making an Ice Sculpture or Vodka Luge, these two are the main varieties people know and want to see.
