Naomi from the Wow Company contacted us regarding an upcoming Awards Night they were hosting. They wanted a spectacular Vodka Luge created and designed to create a wow factor!
As an Ice Company we are very lucky to to be able to have an ice CNC machine that when a picture, logo or design is sent to us, we can plot the image into our dedicated CNC computer. Once every point is captured (which can take several hours), the computer then controls the cutting blade of the CNC machine and accurately and precisely cuts the ice block.
The results are simply amazing. Plotting a logo or an image is a painstaking job which no one sees. James our whiz-kid computer expert has an infinity with computers and the CNC machine. His attention to detail, accuracy and sheer dedication is simply breath-taking and amazing. The only word to describe the results from his work is 'incredible'.

We then used a mixture of techniques to achieve the desired result - hand carving and CNC work. The above picture was the first sketch. After this we discussed the shape and fine-tuned it to how they envisioned it.
