Spitfire Ice Sculpture

The Supermarine Spitfire was designed by the legendry R.J. Mitchell and first flew 1936.  However,  it was not until 1938 that they where put into production. Manufacture lasted just ten years; 1938 to 1948.  Around 20,351 Spitfires were produced in this period. If you wanted to buy one in 1939, the price would have been just over £12,000!  Today, there are only around 50 still in flying-order - with a substantial higher value!  It was the Battle of Britain (July-October 1940) that secured this great plane's popularity and notoriety.

Luge of the week

The Classic Ski Jump  is an elegant and beautiful sexy design; a good angle of attack for the drink to bolt down the ski run, one or two surface channels and standing around 80-100cm high. Phenomenal.  A GREAT functional and time-less shape. Don't wait for the Winter Olympics - this is a Luge for all seasons and every year. If you are a party-loving person and love to set the perfect…
