Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Operator -shaped Vodka Luge
Sir Vivian Dering Majendie, a Major in the Royal Artillery is said to have set-up the first civilian Bomb Squad - on 2nd October 1874. He pioneered many techniques of remote Bomb disposal. In 1875 he outlined and developed the very first explosives control legislation. Over the next century techniques were built upon and improved to what we have today - a very sophisticated and professional elite group of experts at defusing all manner of 'bombs'.
This Vodka Luge (pictured) was ordered by a Military Bomb Disposal Unit. Detailed pictures were sent to us to replicate as closely as possible. The end result was very close to the original pictures.
