PruHealth Ice Sculpture
Antony from Bournemouth PRUHEALTH (an Award winning Health Insurance company) contacted us and asked the proverbial question, 'what can we make that was bold, dramatic and stood out as a piece everyone would not only recognize but feel part of'? After a number of e-mails and discussions instead of creating a 'shape' we would create their name in ice. The item was to be an Ice Sculpture and not a Vodka Luge.
We are lucky to have onboard an Ice CNC machine. CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control - meaning we plot the logo or design and the computer converts the design into our CAD (Computer Aided Design) system. The computer then accurately co-ordinates the movement of the ice cutter and thus cuts the ice block into the shape or design we specifically want.
As guests walked in to the room, the first thing they saw was a lit-up Ice Sculpture of their company name. The Ice Sculpture was a complete surprise to the staff and guests; making a huge impact - with gasps of 'wow!' and 'that's brilliant'. Antony acheived his goal of creating something everyone would be surprised and proud of.
