The Defence Academy at Shrivenham, Oxfordshire is the Officers Training Acadmy for the British Military (Majors and above ranks). To celebrate the end of a long course there is always a formal dinner. 

The Academy's crest is the Great Scop Owl. Major Olly Gray (40 Commando Royal Marines) along with Ed Reynolds and Matthew Woodward organized such an event and called upon us to recreate their crest in ice - as a Vodka luge.  This is what we produced.
