Double Mask Vodka Luge
Jayne of Alpro UK contacted us wanting for their Masquerade Ball a Vodka Luge in the shape of not a single mask but a double mask. She sent us a design of what they wanted - she was very specific! We created the Vodka Luge precisely to her specifications. The result was, as you can see, a very dramatic, different and brilliant piece.
The Vodka Luge was based on the Commedia dell’arte form of theatre - a 16th Century Italian improvisation format where actors wore masks to symbolize their character or role. The symbolism of the two mask (Luge) indicates two characters but the same person.
The design we created was a modern, contemporary twist on the traditional 16th century design.
